Yeah It broke as soon as the 30 day return window expired. Considering I could no longer I couldn’t return it, I decided to take it apart and see what the hell went wrong. The weld’s holding the audio jack are so pathetic it was hard to believe. Tiny pin spot welds with almost no solder. It broke free from the motherboard circuit board and it was just rolling around. All it needed was a little more solder which I think would have cost them like .00001 cent. I guess we’re all attracted to a great price and hope for the best. However this one was a bad choice. I suggest you not purchase it.

Product quality is very poor, its hard to tight screws and unscrewing whole part came apart.
Only VGA works and 3.5jack Audio is not working…

This device is a converter to permit you to connect your newer computer or media device to an older monitor which may have only a VGA input. This allows you to use an older, large-screen LCD or plasma TV for a large screen monitor. It also allows you to use a monitor on which the HDMI ports may have failed or been damaged by a power surge (this happened to me). Unless you are doing high performance gaming, having a really large screen monitor on your desktop or laptop is an amazing improvement. An Ultra HD or 4K monitor is best, but even a basic HDTV with a screen size of 32 or 40 inches is a great improvement.
