I’ve been using the Portronics My Buddy K Portable Laptop Stand for the past 13 days and have found it to be a valuable addition to my workspace. The stand is designed to improve posture by keeping the back straight, neck relaxed, and wrists natural, even after long work hours.
While the stand provides an ergonomic posture for easy typing, I did notice a slight instability, making it feel a bit bumpy during use. However, this minor issue doesn’t significantly affect its functionality, and I’m willing to overlook it since the product is not defective.
Overall, the Portronics My Buddy K Portable Laptop Stand offers a practical solution for those seeking to enhance their laptop ergonomics. Its benefits in promoting better posture outweigh the minor stability concern.

The quality of the material of the stand is quite good. But I’m not sure as it doesn’t feel like a normal aluminum alloy. Definitely isn’t steel. It is quite compact once folded and is very portable.
There are multiple angles possible which makes it suitable for proping up a laptop to view the screen or even raise a tablet for writing. The adjustment options are good and for the ease of setting it up I’d say it’s okay. It comes with a cloth case which makes it a plus.
One con I found: The bottom rubber feet do not offer as much as grip as I would’ve liked.
The biggest plus point I believe is that it is priced quite low. For under 500 rupees, I am definitely satisfied with the product.

The alignment is not okay. Hence, I had to look for return or replacement. The replacement option is there but again, not an easy process. I had to call customer service to initiate the return finally.
It can hold the weight, the material is good but the alignment of the stand is not okay, hence you doubt buying the product.

I’ve been using the Portronics My Buddy K laptop stand since 16 May 2025, and I’m genuinely impressed.
I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of a slight misalignment in the left leg of the stand. It doesn’t affect usability or stability — just a small nitpick on an otherwise excellent product.
It’s been amazing in daily use.
I pair it with my Asus TUF A15 FA506UI (Dimensions: 36.83 x 25.65 x 2.49 cm; 2.3 kg), and it fits perfectly — no wobble or balance issues at all.
While I don’t typically type on the laptop while it’s on the stand, I did test it out, and it handled pressure very well — no instability even with some extra force.
It has helped reduce overheating thanks to the angled design improving airflow.
The foldable form factor is super convenient, and it even comes with a travel pouch that’s surprisingly well-made.
For just ₹399, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended for anyone with a similarly sized laptop looking for a portable and reliable stand.
I’ll post a long-term update in a few months.

I bought this stand for my 15.6-inch Dell Inspiron and I’m really happy with the quality. It feels sturdy and well-built, with a foldable and ergonomic design that makes it very comfortable for long use. The ventilation is good too.
One of the legs was a bit loose out of the box, but it’s not a big issue since the laptop’s weight keeps it stable. For ₹349, this is honestly a great deal. If you’re working long hours on a laptop, this stand is a great buy — it really helps with ergonomic comfort.
