Writing this review is very emotional for me as I had to bid goodbye to it today. It was like an extension of my body for over 2 YEARS. It was one of the best keyboards I have used.

I bought it in January of 2017 for ₹2000. Since then this keyboard has gone through a lot of torture. I play games a lot and many times I would hit the keys brutally during intense moments (READ RAGING). Nothing happened to it though. During it’s service, it had tea/water/cold drinks spilled on it multiple times. Cleaning the keyboard and drying it was more than enough to get back at playing. The RGB Light intensity didn’t reduce over the years. The Blue light is exactly the same as that of Logitech so it paired well with my G300S and G402. The Red is the same as that of the fans of my case so it was a match there too.

Here are some of the PROS
The FN Keys are really handy along with swappable “WASD” and ARROW KEYS.
The Wristrest is big enough and although made of plastic does not irritate the skin.
It’s a silent,”laptop like” keys. Great for late night gaming.
The keys are spaced apart perfectly FOR MY HAND SIZE. So no fatigue over long durations.

But it has a few CONS too.
Some of the keys (Spacebar, Backspace, etc) are not completely lit and it looks kind of bad but they are not easily noticeable.
The RED BAND along the bottom stands out when the keyboard lights up in some other color.
The Numbers in the NUMPAD never worked for me. Might be a software problem.

To conclude, I would say that if you are not head over heels for Mechanical or “Mechanical Feel” keyboards, this is a good and durable keyboard.

so I haven’t had this keyboard for very long but im impressed so far (i got the wired version, not the wireless).
I needed to replace my old standard mechanical keyboard that came with my Dell computer (which was way too noisy and everytime i typed i even annoyed myself), so I started looking around and decided I needed to look for a quiet keyboard with backlighting.
how quiet is it? well its not silent, as you can still hear yourself type. (i think the foldable rubber keyboards are the only true silent ones, if that is what you are looking for) But it is quiet enough that its almost as quiet as my laptop’s keyboard (but only very-slightly louder). also, they keys feel more rubber-like in texture instead of the solid hard-plastic feel that a lot of keyboards have. they don’t feel flimsy though, but time will tell.
the backlighting is customizable, with a lot of different variations you can do with it. it is explained in the very-short user manual how to change modes and colors.
the only criticism i would have would be how the lighting appears through some of the keys. i think its just a fault by design so not a negative in my book, as the keyboard i am replacing had no backlighting at all. and obviously i wasn’t expecting it to be perfect at this price range.
it is plug-and-play, don’t have to go searching for some odd website for drivers (im on win10).
I do suggest buying the wired version as most keyboards with backlighting use energy quick, unless wired is not an option for you.
with all that said, yes it is worth the money they are asking (i might even say its worth more).
hope this helped someone with picking this keyboard as their purchase!

The media could not be loaded.

    pros:
-great device for price range (lookout for discounts, could get upto 1500-1800/-)
-great keyboard with extra macro & media keys,
    -good lighting effects,
    -good arm rest,
    -Amazing overall design and build
-no issue noticed in playing competitive games eg. csgo, macro keys very useful

    cons:
-a lot of dust and hair can get accumulated over time in between the keys as there is a lot of gap under the keys.
-keys can be a bit slower to type quickly on, especially if you a programmer.
-instead of rgb this has fixed 7 color leds so keep that in mind.
-the led lighting is uneven throughout the board so you can notice some brighter and less brighter spots which can be annoying.. very noticeable especially on lower brightness of any color or some specific colors eg. white

P.S. no one needs too much customization for the keyboard led because we all just end up not noticing any of it after a while. Inbuilt modes are good enough but could’ve used some extra modes or colors

I’ve been using this keyboard for around 2 years and I have to say this is an all-round great keyboard, I really don’t have any problems recommending this keyboard to any one. I personally don’t prefer mechanical keyboards as I do spend a good amount of time talking online and mechanical keyboards can get really loud unless you have the money and the expertise to buy mech keyboards with quality switches that are lubed up. And for around Rs. 2,000 this is a great keyboard for the price.

Some things to note about the keyboard:

It’s really comfortable, the included handrest on the keyboard is a great addition and something I do miss while using other keyboards. The incline is also good. I do like plastic handrests as ones made of leather attract sweat and I would rather have something that is more durable.

The RGB is adequate in brightness and variability. You can change it directly on the keyboard which is convenient.

The keycaps are of good quality, I see no signs of detoriation in my 2 years of use. The feel of typing is a subjective one but there is feedback

It is quite easy to clean, comes with a keycap puller. I’ve cleaned it twice thoroughly in my use and I just use a bit of screen cleaning liquid and a microfiber cloth after removing all the keycaps. Looks new every couple months. It does attract a bit of grease but its not the worst. I’d

The G-Keys are a great addition and easy to customize for macros however they do have a bit of a learning curve as in the beginning I was hitting them instead of left ctrl but now its a totally non existent problem. I’d say it takes about a week of daily use to get used to at the max. Don’t worry if you switch between a laptop and this keyboard it’s not something that I can instinctively feel.

When I got the keyboard the spacebar had an unpleasant feel to it but I removed the spring in there and now it works perfect. It has removed some of the tension of pressing the spacebar but I couldn’t care less about that. It’s a stable spacebar key you can press either side with a solid feel.

Media keys are always a plus but the media keys do not have RGB.

For competitive titles like first person shooters I’d say it’s ‘okay’ not bad or good just okay. If that is something you really care about I’d suggest you do a little more research into that. There are keyboards out now that are extremely responsive and have complex mechanisms to detect key presses as soon as you press the keys. This is not that. I have used one of those and coming back to this I did feel a major difference. But before that, this was perfectly adequate for gaming. For 90% of the people I would say its a good gaming keyboard despite not being a mechanical one.

Build quality is excellent for the price point.

I would honestly suggest you to go for it.

This keyboard is amazing. The keys are silent except the spacebar on release. They feel really smooth to the touch.

The lighting has a lot of options including 6 zone gradient effect. Each zone can have its own color choosing from 7 colors. This allows for a ton of customizations. The only improvement would be to add a few more base colors. I wish there was a pure yellow and pure orange base colors.

Media buttons are great. Volume control buttons great. A lot of shortcuts using FN key.

Missing a sleep button, I would attach it to FN + F1 to F4 cause they are media functions and the keyboard already has the same media buttons above F1 to F4.

Macro keys are small. They are categorized in 3 sections of 2 so they dont get mixed up. I would prefer if they were like normal keys. putting space in between is ok but there’s too much space and the keys are small.

The handrest is amazing. Magnetically attached and really comfortable. Has anti slide pattern.

    Overall great keyboard.

Good keyboard, but I had to return it because the response of the “space bar” was very poor, you had to press it with a lot of pressure to make it work.

The keyboard looks good, quiet, interesting backlighting options. From the minuses we can note the surface of the stand under the hand, the material quickly gets dirty.

It’s a pity that I had to return it. I like the brand Redragon, ordered another model.
