this mouse has a main DPI setting that allows 3 DPI presets but also has two buttons to increase DPI or decrease DPI to your own preset on the side allowing 5 extra DPI presets within the main DPI setting. thats 15 DPI settings total for customization. this mouse also has a infinite scroll wheel button that changes the regular scroll your used to into a balanced smooth scroll that speeds up scrolling for actions in games, scrolling pages, or even more. the scrolling is very durable and has lasted a long time and has no issues with me. additional to those buttons there are your two main buttons (left click and right click) aswell as 3 customizable buttons for gaming and more on the side for faster actions instead of having to take your hand off the mouse to use your keyboard aswell as faster signal time for your computer to render. im not done there though. theres additional features such as a weight case that you will get that has weights you can put in the bottom of the mouse in your own customizable way that allows you to have a heavier mouse allowing better sliding to your comfortability. this mouse has very fast reaction time (signal speed) and is wired with a very long wire that is braided for those of you who have cats or dogs. it has lasted me with my 3 cats and austrailian shepphard dog. it is comfortable for my wrist without a pad and hand. i am very satisfied with this mouse and it has never had a sensor error and is very good quality. i would rate this 10/10 compared to other mouse options for any purpose and on top of that its affordable. no im not paid to say this, i genuinely wanted to review things and this is something thats worth a review because i love it.

Recommended by almost everyone in the community, and now personally by me, this mouse is amazing in many ways. From the minimalistic and sophisticated looks to its premium design and feel, it’s a great experience using this mouse. Logitech has scored full marks in the ergonomics department as well.
Performance is something that would be hard to quantify but I have observed it to be noticeably better than my previous mice. For example, in games like scribbl.io where you need to draw on the canvas using a pencil tool, the tracking is much more accurate and smoother. Not to mention, with a 1000Hz polling rate, the input delay reduces by a huge margin. Suitable for competitive gaming. Things like the buttery mouse feet and informative DPI indicator LEDs are just the cherry on the top.
Finally, after the hardware, it all comes down to what is bundled with the mouse, how does the software looks like. And fortunately, the Logitech G Hub is a blessing for everyone using Logitech Peripherals. It is a robust, feature-packed software that can be used to customize lighting, assign macros and in-game keybinds, create profiles, and much more.
All in all, I’ll say that I’m glad I chose this mouse. Sure, it is expensive than some other options, especially to the Chinese ones. But you don’t pay for the crazy 25600 DPI (with new update) or for 16.8 Million Colors. You pay for the reliability, assurance of the brand, premium build and feel, top of the line performance, and more. Consider it as an investment for at least the next 4 years. After all, it is recommended to stick with a mouse and be proficient with it, if you are serious about gaming and more importantly, it reduces e-waste.

Hi, I bought this mouse for gaming as i usually play csgo, I had a MX 518 earlier which stopped working after using it for 3yrs. Meanwhile i have been using a wireless mouse from logitech which wasnt meant for gaming though.
Now to conclude the worth. It is a great mouse in itself but there would be certain things to look for if u really want to buy this or not.
1. As per its design, i did not find it to be extremely good but a rather decent design, i am saying this because i had my little finger constantly rubbing on the mat as it is a bit less extended towards right which put its out of perfect grip.
2. The dpi is 16000 which is absolutely not required and i realized after buying this mouse. MX 518 had 1800dpi which was far more than sufficient. and had a very perfect grip.
3. The infinity roll did not come out to be much of a use unless u wanted to reach the end of “terms and agreement page”.
4. The primary buttons are far too extended to the top which led to missed clicks while playing csgo. u need to be clicking at the far top.
5. The dpi switch often get clicked in the play. That may be jst me. or they could have jst been on top like before. or u switch them
it is a well built mouse with good response with very little flaws, but i seriously feel that u dnt have to spend additional money on it. This is to all those gamers out there who really want to have a good gear. Trust me u rlly dont have to burn ur pockets deep, jst get any mouse with upto 2000 dpi if u are an fps person. For dota gow where in u need lots of buttons, this would still fail.
SO YEAH, U CAN GET BETTER AT LOWER PRICES IF U R AN FPS PERSON

I was skeptical that I would feel this mouse to be heavy as I saw and read multiple reviews before buying. But tried it out myself and it took less than 3 days to get used to the weight. It will feel heavy if you are coming from cheapo local or portable mouse, but its worth it.
I used the Acer Nitro Gaming Mouse before this and it is quite a difference from that. The sensor is much more responsive and I had to actually learn things about the mouse and the features that it offered before I could dial it to my preferred settings.
After using both the Logitech Sofwares (Logitech Gaming Software and G Hub), I would suggest you to install the older Logitech Gaming Software as it provides LED customization for even the On board memory mode.
The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the Lift off distance. Which means the height at which the sensor stops recognizing input above the surface is quite low and it sometimes causes failure to do quick flicks, but I guess I just have to get used to this.
The infinite scrolling is a godsend for a developers and working professionals where scrolling through documents/code/emails can be a pain.
Overall a great mouse, I got it for 3799 INR on sale.

This is by far and hands down the mouse that we should actually look for especially if you are gonna use it for multiple purposes. It gives you flexibility by providing many programmable switches (11). The only thing that seemed like a gimick is the infinite scroll wheel, I have not found a practical use of this feature in my workflow/usage but still looking forward to explore more. The real potential of this mouse unlocks only when you hit the software and tune it thoroughly which can be a little tedious for some but still it is indeed worth your efforts in a long run. Just remember to setup different profiles, it would be good for you. And for consistency please use the Onboard Memory function in the logitech software (G-Hub).
Overall this mouse is a great pick out of the box because of it’s build quality, weight adjustability and the programmable keys.
I waited all these years to get my hands onto this beast, guess what ? It was worth the wait.
