Excellent, no noise from fan, very silent, I bought it for my ryzen 9 3900X, 30-40 deg in idle, while gaming 65-75 deg (GTA-5, Red dead redemption 2), installation is very easy… Overall excellent….

I’ve had this cooler since December of 2022, and I just had to come back to sing it’s praises. Affordable and it’s from noctua, with pretty much every benefit you get with their mainline or chromax coolers: Easy installation, quality thermal paste (pre applied here, but easy to get if you need more), Future conscious service for when and if a new socket generation comes around (which it certainly has with AM5), and best of all it’s QUIET. Some tech reviewers (only LTT as far as I know) have said that the older fan bearing system will cause it to be louder, but I can confidently say that this has been the quietest cooler I have ever owned (don’t miss the AMD wraith spire one bit). I would buy another one of these for any system I would build in the future without hesitation. My only hope is that Noctua takes this budget friendly cooler idea and make a lineup of redux budget coolers (Imagine a NHD15 redux for like 80 or 90 bucks vs the normal 110/115)

If you are reading this it means you already know it’s the best Air cooler so stop your research and get it immediately. It keeps my 5800X cool with PBO enabled and preforms similar to my previous 240 AIO. It gives your build a premium look while staying silent even under full load and backed by a 6 years warranty it just great.

O Air-Cooler Noctua é excelente, eficaz e silencioso. No entanto, tive grandes problemas com a transportadora Total Express, que se mostrou totalmente ineficaz e com prazos de entrega questionáveis. Fico surpreso que a Amazon ainda mantenha contrato com uma transportadora tão problemática, considerando que há mais de 15 mil reclamações no Reclame Aqui. Se eu soubesse que a entrega seria responsabilidade da Total Express, não teria efetuado a compra.

Es un buen producto. Ya había pasado un año y medio desde que tuve mi PC, necesitaba cambiar la pasta como disipador. Desde que se me entregó el 27 de mayo, dure un rato en instalarlo, dado que estuvo difícil por su guía como en YT, pero al final fue fácil de instalar en realidad, solo un poco difícil colocar los dos ventiladores por su soporte. Les recomiendo usar plastinudo para colocarlos, es más fácil, no se lastiman los dedos y no rayan el disipador.
También quiero agregar que la caja vino un poco golpeada abajo de un lado, siendo el derecho, y con la cubierta de plástico del disipador un poco rota, ya me había asustado que se hubiera rayado el metal o un componente roto como los ventiladores.
La pasta térmica es muy buena como el Disipador. Antes tenía 40º en la PC al adquirirla, cuando la cambie tuve primero 25º a 32º, hasta ahora después de 2 meses solo me llega a 28º a 35º. Aunque bueno, tengo un i5-11400F. No sé cuál sería la temperatura de algo más pesado.

If you’re willing to invest in quality, it’s a solid choice for your system. Cine bench test maximum temperature 67 to 71 . Room ambient temperature 40 centigrade . Overall very good cpu cooler .

I don’t like Air coolers because of the bulky size and sharp edges. I have an NZXT x53 but it will fail because of the pump. After receiving Noctua my whole idea about the air cooler has changed.

Its a very good Air cooler, even under intense load its temp doesnt exceed 75 degrees. Most of all its not bulky and it does its job really well. if you are looking for a air cooler i would recommend you to get this. its a bit pricey compared to others but the fans are so quite u will not even know its running so quite.

Great fan quiet and keeps the cpu nice and cool, it’s a quite a bit of money, but you get the money’s worth, it also comes with everything you need, y connectors and even a screwdriver, and thermal paste. Great overall

My current air cooler is a Scythe Fuma1, which is working very well with a 3 fan config; temps are close to those reported by the Noctua D-15; the D-15 requires a really big case. I bought this purely as a standby, and because there was a very good price drop (Rs. 15000/= to Rs 9000/=).
Being a Noctua, it has class. The finish is in a different league as compared to the Scythe Fuma; the Noctua has its fins soldered to the heat pipes, the Scythe does not have this feature (this translates to better cooling). I did a trial run with this cooler. Firstly, the installation was significantly easier than the Fuma. During Cinebench23, the Noctua gave the same temps as the Fuma (Fuma 3 fans vs Noctua 2 fans). After testing, I changed back to the Fuma; since I am using RGB fans, the Fuma looks a lot better. The Noctua, is a great buy for the price; I am keeping it as a standby.

It’s completely compatible with latest amd mb am5 socket and latest intel mb lga 1700 socket.
I installed at a ryzen 5 3600x cpu in Corsair spec 01 cabinet with msi b550 gaming carbon wifi mb.
After that at ideal mode, I get 38-40°c temp at cpu. At gaming mode, I get 60-65°c temp at latest game for pc God of war, Jedi Survivor, Spider-Man, Uncharted the legacy of thieves.
You will clearly see the 10°c temp difference between ryzen 5 3600x stock cooler to Noctua nh u 12a. And very less noise.
The name Noctua is enough to trust build quality. Though some corner fins and middle fins(where clips of fans should be locked) slightly bends due to packaging or Amazon delivery service.
And It clearly doesn’t hang over the ram you can clearly see from the given images.
You will really see the improved performance of your system.

This is an excellent air cooler for powerful processors on resources intensive tasks. Installed on i9 13900, that took 20 mins watching youtube video with plain instructions. Check the specs of cabinet to ensure no space issues. I have Corsair 4000D accommodating this cooler easily.
Results were astounding. On stress test CPU was stable at 80 degree Celsius and on ordinary usage it was below 35. Does the job perfect.
