Went to swap my CPU, and realized that one of my original brackets had cracked, and was probably part of the issue when my old CPU crashing. This part arrived quickly mounted exactly like the OEM part, and held up when I cranked down the cooling fan.

I bought these for a AM5 board even though the product only says its for AM4, as I couldn’t find a similar product for AM5 on amazon. Although the dimensions were the same, but it turns out the plastic part sticks out a little and overlaps the CPU socket bracket. However with a pliers type flush wire cutter I was able to cut off the overlapping plastic easily and attach my cooler perfectly. It didn’t seem to deform or weaken even with part of the plastic cut off, and so far everything works great. Your milage may vary.
TLDR Not designed for AM5 but can work with AM5 socket with some modification.
