Hey, as long as it works and got no bad sectors, I’m fine with it. The HDD is second hand, Crystal disk info shows 8 years of power on, but working fine. Also guys never purchase a non returnable hdd, they definitely trying to scam you.
Edit : Seems like the seller of this hdd changed this product from returnable to non returnable, and like I said do not purchase non returnable hdd. When I purchased this hdd there was option for returning if turned out to be defective.

Turned out it was a refurbished seagate drive (SATA2) with a usage of 1.5 years as reported by SMART. I am using it for learning TRUENAS and validating my new NAS build server’s SATA ports. I will use this as a media store for Jellyfin and dont want to trust it too much in terms of longevity or redundancy. For my core NAS drives I will be buying brand new HDDs. In all, a fairly decent purchase if you are in need of disposable HDDs.

I know its refurbished i already check by application bit the thing is they sell in brand new condition like no scratches deep clean and also good transfer speed i transfer 150GB data with 109Mbps so don’t worry go for it without any other think they not make froud like other i got it last week working perfectly.
