Needed this for an external enclosure to use as external SSD, still working perfectly. Had to format after the first time I plugged it in, but its fantastic reaching the speeds it advertises. You can’t go wrong with Crucial.

Upgraded my Dell Inspiron 5570 with this SSD, and it made a huge difference! Windows boots in seconds, apps open instantly, and overall system speed feels much better. However, my laptop’s motherboard didn’t fully support NVMe speeds at first—I had to tweak some settings to get better performance.
If you’re upgrading an older laptop, make sure to check BIOS and storage settings. Once configured properly, this SSD is fast and reliable!

So, I used it on a MacBook Air 2017 & this works same as the original Apple one. Blazing fast speed with fully functional Windows 11 & Mac OS Monterey. Cherry on the Top is working Sleep & Hibernation which I read almost everywhere that Non-Apple SSDs fails to provide.
