The Kioxia is a sub brand of Toshiba. Toshiba is the brand who invented the storage chips so Kioxia is most trustworthy among others. Being a Japanese brand it has a stand alone credibility. Never buy sata SSDs with TBW, Speed measurements because you can never reach the limit to test the TBW actual performance.
I can ardently say this is much reliable option than you can think of.
This is only SSD available online with metal body for better heat sync which may result in increase of the durability of the drive.
If you’re a technical expert of computer components having deep knowledge, I would like to let you know this SSD has the Longest Plate inside the SSD unlike others having upto almost half the size of SSD cassette. This can be seen by throwing light into the screw holes of the SSD.
And, Write Speed of this SSD I have experienced is upto 550+ Mbps depending upon size and type of data your are copying.
I am using this SSD as an internal storage device for my Laptop. I am happy with the performance.

Ich setze die Kioxia EXCERIA SSDs seit mehreren Jahren erfolgreich ein, auch im 24/7-Betrieb in Serverumgebungen.
Aktuell habe ich insgesamt vier dieser SSDs in einem Hardware RAID 6 Verbund unter Proxmox 8.x.x im Einsatz.
Die Leistung der SSDs ist in meinem Anwendungsbereich mehr als ausreichend.
Die Lesegeschwindigkeiten sind beeindruckend und stabil, selbst im Dauerbetrieb.
Auch nach über einem Jahr kontinuierlicher Nutzung rund um die Uhr funktionieren die Platten zuverlässig und ohne Leistungseinbrüche.
Technisch betrachtet sind die Kioxia EXCERIA SSDs eine solide Wahl für Nutzer, die auf gute Leistung bei moderaten Kosten setzen.
Sie bieten SATA III Unterstützung, was Transferraten von bis zu 6 Gbit/s ermöglicht. Damit eignen sie sich nicht nur für Desktop-PCs, sondern auch für kleine bis mittlere Serverumgebungen, insbesondere wenn kein NVMe-Speicher benötigt wird.
Fazit:
In der heutigen Zeit gibt es an SSDs dieser Klasse nicht viel zu bemängeln. Die Kioxia EXCERIA liefert eine zuverlässige Performance im 24/7-Betrieb, und das zu einem günstigen Preis.
Für mein Einsatzszenario – ein Hardware RAID 6 unter Proxmox – ist die Geschwindigkeit absolut ausreichend, und die Platten laufen auch nach über einem Jahr ohne Probleme.
Eine klare Empfehlung, besonders für Anwender mit begrenztem Budget, die dennoch auf Zuverlässigkeit setzen!
