Update the firmware to the latest version before using the SSD. There were cases of these drives failing and Samsung fixed it. I did use Samsung Magician and updated the firmware to the latest as of now. Check the image attached with the review.
This thing surpasses most of the SSD drives in this speed bracket, in my opinion totally worth it for the price I paid.
Using it for my PS5, with a heatsink. During tests, it was giving 6557MB/s read speed in my PS5. Game loading times are so tiny I do not even notice it anymore. If you plan to use this drive, make sure you are getting a good heatsink for it because it runs HOT.

Ha sido una verdadera revelación en mi PC. Si buscas velocidad y rendimiento de primer nivel, este SSD es una opción espectacular.
Lo primero que noté al instalarlo fue lo sencillo que fue el proceso, gracias al formato M.2. Ocupa muy poco espacio en la placa base y se integra perfectamente, sin cables ni complicaciones. Si no eres un experto en hardware, no te preocupes, la instalación es rápida y fácil.
Una vez en funcionamiento, la diferencia es increíble. La velocidad de lectura y escritura es impresionante gracias a la interfaz PCIe 4.0 y la tecnología V-NAND de Samsung. Las aplicaciones se abren en un parpadeo, los tiempos de carga en juegos prácticamente desaparecen, y el arranque del sistema es casi instantáneo. Es un verdadero salto en rendimiento, especialmente si vienes de un SSD más antiguo o un disco duro tradicional.
La fiabilidad de Samsung es un gran plus, sabiendo que estás invirtiendo en un producto de alta calidad que te durará años.

Recently SSD price increased much as crazy, but this one increased slightly less than other products. That’s the reason I purchase it.
Unfortunately, its Write speed at 6650MBps and Read speed about 6800MBps on my PC which are lower than expected.

Initially I had to face a strange issue with this SSD for using it inside an enclosure from Pibox due to which Samsung Magician software was detecting it as counterfeit. I was worried that I had received a fake product and also raised complaint with Amazon.
While troubleshooting with the help of internet I could find below possible issues for my scenario:
1. After updating Samsung Magician software to latest version few users got the counterfeit message.
2. Sometimes in windows security if control folder access is turned ON then it can cause problem too.
But in my case scenario was completely different….on doing some troubleshoot I noticed in my task manager instead of showing Samsung SSD it’s showing my enclosure chip model name. Then I replaced my laptop internal SSD with the samsung one and it finally detected it genuine. Before doing this I had cloned my internal SSD using Samsung Magician and with the same Pibox SSD enclosure. This function was allowed in Samsung tool. I am also satisfied with the speed.
I hope if someone encounters the same issue then this feedback could save you from headache.
