I’m a new at live streaming for my church school class, and getting this HDMI Video Capture Device
was a breeze to set up for someone on a budget. When I set everything up it worked. It did get warm to the touch, but I had it in my 3.0 usb port. But when I moved it to the 2.0 usb port and that helped to reduce the heat and it is still working. I am not a gamer so I cannot recommend it for gaming.

Used this HDMI to USB adapter to get video signal from Sony FS7 video camera into Apple MacBook Pro for use with video conferencing software ZOOM. Worked perfectly and had zero issues. Audio follows video.
