Purchased Asus EEE 1001px which stops working when I placed this RAM, updated BIOS to see if issue resolves but wont so placed OEM RAM which came with laptop (1 GB) and now its working normal.
Updated on 29 July Root cause found to be this RAM only , calmed warranty and its picked up from home will update once issue is resolved.
Giving 3 star since item picked from home for warranty !!
Updated on 16 th Aug 2024 even the replaced RAM still showing same behaviour so not sure wether it’s my laptop doesn’t handle 800 MHz 2GB DDR2 ? I Won’t suggest anyone to suffer the same trouble, get well known brands RAM & get it updated from local repair store who can address issues if any than getting something and then figure out what went wrong… Planning use it as paper weight may be.
