Bought this pack of 2 ram for my 12 year old pc. Works quite good. No issues in that. It seems this ram is indeed 800mhz even if it shows 400 MHz in CPU-Z and other softwares.
A little search online and got to know that since it’s Double Data Rate -2 (DDR-2) we have to double the speed it displays. So 800mhz effectively shows 400 MHz. I am quite convinced with the answers I got in many trusted websites related to the speed showing up less than actual and I can live with that. Also I am satisfied with this ram as I will not do any gaming in 12 year old pc. I believe this would be the cheapest best ram available as of today in market for DDR 2 config.
Verdict from me would be go for this ram to revive old pc you won’t regret but since the company is not a big name, so can’t comment about reliability. I believe it will work fine for me though.
Shipped with just a plastic cover packaging and no bubble wrap or any sort of protection against transit damage. So given 2 stars for shipping.

First of all, all the DDR2 ram products are selling by Simmtronics are 2nd hand products. You can check (after installation) that these rams are manufactured by Samsung, Kingstone, Zion etc. etc. And the manufacturing dates of these rams are older than 2010.
Also, the 3-year warranty claim is also fake. If you found any Simtronics service centre near you, they will say that these rams are not manufactured by their company, and they cannot do anything. (Yes, they are correct. Because the seller sells second-hand products from different companies).
After I received the combo pack, I installed them one by one and saw one of the rams (second hand) is 667 MHz instead of 800 MHz. The other ram (second hand) is correctly 800MHz (DDR= Double Data Rate= 400 MHz x 2 = 800 MHz) and manufactured by Samsung company. So, I called Amazon customer care and they said they will replace my products. I know that I will get second-hand ram this time also. I will update my review after the replacement.

Both the RAM are working properly also frequency is same as mentioned 800MHz
For delivery 3 / 5 RAMs come in simple plastic packaging there is no any protection for them
At last both the RAMs are best for value for money

My old pc had only 2GB RAM and was getting memory errors, hence decided to posts install 8GB ram as my mobo had 4 slots for ddr2ram.
This came in proper packaging even though ecom express delivery was a bit late. But it was already informed that it will be late, so it’s ok.
This was very easy to install(I installed it) and it got recognised by my computer when restarted. I got five instead of four, 3with Samsung chips and two with some nanya technologies. No faulty products. All works fine. Thank you Simmtronics
Be careful if you are trying to install 8 GB into windows 7 32 bit or earlier because it will show only 4GB of memory, plus windows 7 will always allocate only less than installed memory for use. If you are going for 4GB it is fine, but if you are going for 8GB, (two of these which contain four 2GB ram sticks) then make sure your OS is Windows 7 64 bit or higher.
