Having built many computers in my life, Asus has been a common name in my parts. My current computer has an older MATX Asus board, and this recent purchase for a friends computer was a no-brainer.
For a simple no-thrills computer, it works perfectly, and at the price-point, there is little to argue about.
Having had a range of low range to high-end motherboards in the past, I can wholeheartedly say I am more comfortable with these lower range models. Less features in most cases can be a relief as there are less elements of the board that can go wrong or cause hardware/software issues.
If you are not interested in overclocking, or having the highest-market components and don’t have too many expansion needs, these boards simply can handle it and last for years on years.
The only issue I have is limited case fan headers, however if only using 3 or 4 of the same case fans on Y splitters, no worries.

I ordered many mobo but due to old bios I can’t run it but in this mobo there is flashback and trust me it’s best in this range all other motherboard don’t give it which make the first booting experience terrifying.

I buy these all the time to put in low end builds. Paired with a Ryzen 5600 and a RX 6600 you will have a good gaming PC for most games in 1080p gaming. There is not a hole lot of connectivity options, but that is expected in a budget motherboard. Therefore you might have to use a fan splitter or buy a PC case with a fan hub or the fans daisy chained.

***Update the bios before assembling*****
If you’re planning to buy a ryzen 5000 series cpu look no further. The bios flash back functionality is a life saver, it doesn’t need a previous gen cpu or any ram, gpu etc to update the bios. The cpu cooler standoffs could have been better, it works fine but it was cumbersome to put the cooler on.

I got it with offer of 10% off. The mbd has good features and support docp and overclocking. The pcb quality is slightly on the inferior side. But the major drawback is that I bought this with amd ryzen 5500gt cpu and the heatsink is to big to fit along with the ram. The ram also has heatsink (16gb ripjaw) and is thicker than normal ram without heatsink. So my advice is to buy ram that has no heatsink or avoid this motherboard and look at other models. I still managed to install the ram and cpu by slightly pushing the ram away. It’s not ideal but I managed. If you are using a different heatsink then it’s ok but the wraith stealth heatsink is not compatible.

Boards came with old BIOS. Did a quick update to latest. Running my ryzen 9 3900x, 7800xt merc 319 & DDR4 3200 and no problems. The looks of this mother board make you think it might be bullet proof.

Bought this MB for its cheap price compared to others. It turns out to be really good. Only thing i complain about this is that it doesn’t have integrated Wifi. But considering its price, can’t really expect integrated wifi adaptor

Excellent Motherboard especially the flaskback feature which does not require even a cpu or graphics card to flash n update bios. I had to upgrade bios due to AMD 4500 processor release few days ago but bios needed change. Got sealed package too. Happy with ASUS quality. Thanks Amazon for quick delivery and perfect packaging
