Ho acquistato questo DC-DC converter step up, per elevare la tensione di uscita fornita dal power bank di 5,2V. Ne ho trovati diversi su Amazon, ma questo mi ha colpito perchè era in grado di erogare 3A continui, con un picco massimo di 4A, cosa alquanto difficile per questo genere di prodotti (soprattutto se poi si guardano le reali dimensioni del prodotto), che normalmente arrivano a fatica a 1A. Comunque, l’ho testato con attrezzatura professionale, e devo dire che sono rimasto sbalordito dalle prestazioni. Non solo tiene tranquillamente i 3A continui, ma addirittura arriva a 3,6A (sempre continui), ma come anche consigliato dal produttore, quando la corrente erogata dovesse raggiungere valori importanti come questi, è preferire dotare l’oggetto di una adeguata aletta in alluminio per dissipare il calore ( e magari anche una ventolina, aggiungo io). Ne ho presi due, uno lo devo settare sui 12,6V con 0,6A continui di assorbimento, e il converter, dopo averlo testato per circa un ora e mezza, non era nemmeno tiepido, praticamente freddo. L’altro converter l’ho settato sui 12,9V, e con circa 1,5A di assorbimento continui (sempre dopo circa un’ora e mezza di test) era appena appena tiepido. Direi quindi prodotto promosso a pieni voti.

Purchased two of these products a couple of months ago, running just fine.
It can handle good load, but you have to adjust what comes in (input voltage).
I mean I can run a brushless 12v computer DC fan at 26v, the input is 5v phone charge, and get a huge speed from the fan, this doesn’t make the xl6009 thing warm, and doesn’t draw huge current, unless the power source is weak! Yes, if I put this in a power source that can deliver 5v at 1 amp, and the output is huge, the IC consumes 3 AMPs of power, in such case, you just either reduce the output voltage, or increase the input AMP + voltage.
Oh it does what it says, it doesn’t boost if your source provides < 4.8 volts!

Even after ordering from the same seller both of them are different products, both of them come in different packages & one was already open & used. Giving 4star because even after all this they are working ok.

Delivered with missing potentiometer😢 Guys you need to be careful. This is not xl6009 ic, it is HS6019SE1 IC. This is worthless guys. Please get another good product..don’t think twice don’t buy from them..

Overall performance is very good. M using this product to increase output voltage of a old mobile charge from 5v to 13v to charge my bike battery at home and it is working, within 3~4 hrs my bike battery is charged.
