I bought this for a build I was making for a friend who just wanted a basic but okay gaming pc. They didn’t want it to be all singing and dancing, and had already got a decent gpu and psu.
I coupled it with a slightly old motherboard, rog strix b450-f gaming, and existing ram from their previous pc.
I only had one issue which was the cpu was too new! The motherboard didn’t have the updated version of bios so I had to dig out a very old cpu to stick in it to flash the bios.
Once this was done, everything worked like a dream.
It is a really quick processor, it fits into the AMD slot like any other AM4 processor would so it was a doddle. I didn’t use the fan that it came with as I had already bought a different cooler, but it comes with a standard wraith.
Temperature wise it sits quite happily around the 50-60 degree mark when my friend games, using a liquid cooled rad cooler so this is fab.
Noise wise, no noise.
It isn’t labelled as a gaming cpu, but for basic gaming it works wonderfully which I think is really good value. It handles a lot of the steam games which my friend throws at it, giving good fps and loads everything in a very quick amount of time.
He’s happy so I’m happy! I’d recommend!
Just to add, it isn’t overclocked so I don’t know whether it can be or how well it would run, it is just running in my friends pc as it is out of the box.

Beim Ryzen 5 5500 GT hat AMD fast alles richtig gemacht: Die 6 CPU-Kerne der Generation Zen 3 können wie beim 5600 G/GT und 5700 G auf 16 MiB L3-Cache zugreifen, was den Prozessor überraschend flott macht. In etlichen Benchmarks liegt er sogar vor dem alten 8-Kerner Ryzen 7 2700 (Zen+). Dabei läuft die CPU so kühl, dass der mitgelieferte Kühler voll und ganz ausreicht. Der Lüfter des AMD-Kühlers bleibt sogar überraschend leise.
Der integrierte Grafikchip ist wie beim 5600 G/GT mit 7 CUs (448 SP) ausgestattet. Nur der Ryzen 7 5700 G kommt auf 8 CUs (512 SP). Das macht aber keinen großen Unterschied, denn für anspruchsvolle Spiele reicht auch der voll ausgestattete Grafikkern nicht aus. Für Büroarbeiten, Videos und Gelegenheitsspiele taugen indes beide Varianten. Wer mehr Grafikleistung benötigt, kann eine Grafikkarte nachrüsten. Deren Anbindung ist dann allerdings auf PCIe 3.0 limitiert, da AMD nur bei den grafiklosen CPUs der 5000er-Serie PCIe 4.0 bietet. Das ist aber auch das einzige Manko.
Fazit: Würde ich wieder kaufen und weiterempfehlen!

Best budget processor if you are not planning to buy a dedicated GPU anytime soon. I got around 80fps in GTA 5 in 1080p(dual channel RAM). Got around 40fps in Cyberpunk 2077 in 1080p. CPU performance is almost comparable to i5 12400. Recommended for people who don’t mind not having PCie gen 4. As processors in this budget can’t even utilise full potential of PCie gen 4 speed. So it doesn’t matter…
Performance almost same as Ryzen 5 5600g.

Processore che fa il suo dovere senza troppi fronzoli. Ottime prestazioni per il prezzo, gira bene sia in gaming leggero che nelle attività quotidiane. La grafica integrata è un bel plus se non vuoi subito investire in una GPU dedicata. Scalda poco, consuma il giusto e si installa facilmente. Perfetto per chi cerca un buon compromesso tra potenza e costo senza esagerare.

Highly recommend it for budget gaming PCs (my budget was 20k~ for example, excluding monitor, storage, and case) where you cannot buy a dedicated GPU right away, as the Radeon Vega 7 Graphics has fairly decent performance (look up on YT to get a good idea of what it can run).

Got this on great indian festival for 10k, best value for the money with no discrete graphic card needed although in future i suggest buying a gpu. Delivery experience was good from amazon it was just the box little bit damaged otherwise processor was good.

If your is limited go for ryzen 5 5500gt, works like a charm with msi b450a pro max2, im happy i got it, though there is a price hike recently, wait for offer, i got it for 11100/- something like that
