This ESP32 module works perfectly with respect to Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. If you are building with Arduino, make sure you use “ESP32-WROOM-DA Module” as board.

Using the Arduino IDE, I could not upload any sketch to the ESP32. I get a, “A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32: Timed out waiting for packet header”. The only way to get this board to upload was to hold the “Boot” button down while uploading the sketch, then it worked. Returning device…
