The Crucial external hard disk is a great product for transferring data from one place to another. However, its performance depends on your computer or USB hub’s compatibility with high-speed data transfer. If supported, it provides high-speed functionality; otherwise, it may operate at 40 to 50 Mbps. The Crucial external SSD delivers optimal speed when connected via a USB-C port on your computer. If only standard USB ports are available, it will not perform at its full capacity.

I bought the Crucial X6 1TB Portable SSD expecting great performance, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It doesn’t work with my devices, and when I contacted customer support, they confirmed it’s not compatible. To make things worse, there’s no return policy, so now I’m stuck with a product I can’t use. It feels like my money has been wasted. I strongly advise anyone considering this product to double-check compatibility before buying, as you won’t be able to return or exchange it if it doesn’t work for you

Small, flat and fast. I havent tested the durability yet but i really like that it becomes so easy to carry around. Transfers are fast. I bought two : One and Two tera and so far i am very satisfied with the quality of the product.

The SDD is quite compact, it operates fast, and compatible to almost every device like laptop PC phone etc.. Works fine when you use USB A male to USB C cable to connect the SSD to the PC or Laptops which does not have USB C Female input.. It is pretty light weight and fits easily into pocket as well. Best for the price.
And the default format of this SSD is exFAT which is a common format which works with Mac and Windows. Though NTFS works with Mac as well but only for copying from it to the pc, you cannot Write back onto the SSD from the pc, cannot modify or rename etc. But you cannot make partitions or resize exFAT format SSD. If you want to make partitions then you have to format the SSD to NTFS and then you will be able to encrypt the files, use Bitlocker and the files will be safer as compared to exFAT. While exFAT format is less reliable as compared to NTFS because NTFS can automatically repair files and folders if there’s a power failure or errors unlike exFAT. Thankfully there are software for Mac which can read and also Write NTFS, so it is better to choose it while formatting.

I ordered the Crucial X6 For My M4 Mac Mini and it works really well. It’s tiny size is very convenient for taking it on the go. Comes with a fast type c to type c cable which offers stable speeds of around 800mb/s read and write. For the price this is very good performance and the drive doesn’t over heat or slow down

I connect this to xbox series s and it works perfectly to archive games and the transfer rate between internal ssd and this one is super fast.. most large games will be transferred within 2-5 mins..

This 2TB SSD is one of the best if not the best I have ever owned. I have desktop SSDs, NAS systems, and external hard drives, but they are all made for a desktop. This tiny drive can fit in your pocket and has incredibly fast transfer speeds. If you have an iPhone 15, it can be used to capture ProRES video/photography. The price point is affordable for the value it provides. A lot of influencers and content creators use this drive because of its reliability, portability, and speed. I am thinking of purchasing a couple more for different projects.
