SanDisk Ultra Luxe 256GB, USB 3.2 Gen 1, Flash Drive, Upto 400MB/s R, Pendrive, Metal, 5Y Warranty (SDCZ74-256G-I35)

I recently purchased this pen drive, expecting it to perform as advertised with a blazing speed of 400 Mbps. However, the reality is far from it. The actual transfer speed is a upto 2 Mbps, which is utterly unacceptable.

My laptop, equipped with an RTX 4060 graphics card and top-notch specs, handles heavy workloads seamlessly, so there’s absolutely no issue on my end. Even with simple file transfers, the performance of this pen drive is abysmal.

This product is a total waste of money. It fails to deliver on its promises, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money by looking elsewhere for a reliable storage solution.

I get around 150mbps max copy pasting speed and the build quality is ofcourse good as it is metal built but if you want even more speed I might not suggest this one but Samsung’s latest release instead

People posting negative reviews (about slow speed and heating) of this USB flash drive ought to be ashamed of themselves for spreading misinformation and confusing potential customers from buying this item.

I was eyeing this flash drive for 2 months, however the reviews about this drive becoming hot (some people mentioned like real uncomfortable hot) and some screenshots of users showing slow speeds had me really confused. I almost abandoned my purchase. But, as evident from my review, I finally bought it.

If your computer has the hardware, this drive will deliver.

Did it become hot: No. Only slightly warm. Because of the metal body, you feel that warmth. In a plastic body (plastic = bad conductor, we all studied in school) pen drive, the heat is trapped inside the pen drive. I have no idea why people are mentioning heat as a negative for this item.

For reference, I have attached an image of my Samsung metal pen drive 64GB USB 3.0 which I purchased from Amazon in April 2016. It gets hotter than this Sandisk pen drive.

All in all, I highly recommend this USB flash drive.

I AM PURCHASE SANDISK 256GB 3.1 GAN 1 DESIGN GOOD, FULL METAL BODY, DURABILITY VERY GOOD NOT FOUND ANY PROBLEM BUT HEATING ISSUES. NOT OVER HEATING.
