I got it for 58k (16gb 512gb). For that price Ryzen 5 8645hs + rtx 3050 6gb is a great deal.
But 2 things im not happy with are display and battery life.
– Display has washed out colours and less sharpest, Even it is IPS panel viewing angles are not that great.
– Battery life is mostly 3hr if you using for anything, in case of gaming or video editing you need to do it while pluged in.
– Build quality seems ok for the price.
– Weight is on higher side as expected. Not a negative it is what it is.
– Keyboard is good, but note there is only one level of backlight.
– About performance i didn’t tried much heavy tasks but i think its a snappy machine for the price.
– If you are getting this under 60k, as per my knowledge this is the best configaration you can get.

The laptop is good but the charger adaptor disappointed me 120W

I purchased this laptop for ₹58,000 with card discounts, and I’m thoroughly disappointed. Here’s why:
Performance & Thermals:
Gaming performance is decent with the RTX 3050, but the thermal management is terrible. On auto fan mode, CPU reaches 96°C and GPU hits 86°C — completely unacceptable. After tweaking in MSI Afterburner, I got the GPU to 76°C, but Ryzen 5 8645HS can’t be undervolted, and there’s no way to tweak the CPU effectively.
The only real solution is running the fan at max, which brings the CPU to 56°C and GPU to 58°C, but while the fan noise isn’t loud, running it on max could wear down the fan motor over time.
Battery Life:
Gaming: Around 30–40 minutes.
Normal use (Power-saving mode): Just 1.5 hours.
You must keep it plugged in for any gaming or heavy use — battery life is awful.
Display:
The 144Hz refresh rate is nice, but the 45% NTSC color coverage means colors are dull and washed-out.
Out of the box, the display had a yellowish tint — I tried fixing it with AMD Adrenalin, but it’s still not color accurate enough for creative work.
Build Quality:
The hinge is flimsy and feels cheap, which makes me doubt the laptop’s long-term durability. My 3 year old HP Pavillion feels 10 times stronger.
Plastic build and the overall design feel budget at best.
Other Notes:
16GB RAM (1 extra slot available, max 32GB).
No extra SSD slot — the single M.2 slot is already occupied.
Keyboard backlight has no step dimming, only on or off, which is frustrating for those who prefer a more customizable experience.
Verdict:
The HP Victus 15 might be okay for casual gamers, but for ₹58K, it’s not worth the price. The thermal issues, poor battery life, mediocre display, cheap build, and lack of keyboard backlight control make it hard to recommend.
Rating: 5/10 — Save your money or look for a better option.

-Hp’s official warranty is showing 2 months shorter than the promised 12 months
-The tgp which is supposed to be 95W is capped to 50W and theres no help from hp’s side
-performance also lacks behind due to the VERY LOW tgp
-display is ok
– Fans are noisy

1.Delivery was late, and the outer packaging wasn’t great, so I gave it 4 stars.
2.The AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS is a 4nm processor, which is significantly better than Intel’s 10nm processors in this range. It even outperforms the Apple M2 (5nm).
3.The laptop doesn’t heat up at all—great cooling system by HP.
4.The RTX 3050 6GB performs well. I got over 50+ FPS in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut with DLSS on at 1080p Ultra preset, and over 100 FPS using AMD Frame Generation! Still, I feel HP could have offered an RTX 3060 instead of the 3050.
5.Battery life is around 6 hours in Balanced mode, with no performance drop while unplugged.

The build looks very premium. There is a setting in omen gaming hub which turn fans to max speed, so no overheating issue if u run heavier tasks. Omen AI available to boost games. Gaming test – Gta V, valorant and fall guys rull smooth as butter even tho I wasn’t able to record fps. Minecraft u can play with any shaders or resourcepack available there at max settings. Performance is incomparable to any laptop available in this budget. And u get alot of tweaks to do in AMD software and Omen Gaming Hub which can get u most out of ur laptop. I did minecraft test with Seus Renewed shaders and u can already see the level of smoothness
