Good quality. Wide brightness spectrum. No speakers though, updated versions have the options of speakers and type c connectivity.
But I needed VGA port. So, perfect for me.

I chose this 29-inch ultrawide LG monitor because LG products have always been reliable, and their support team is excellent at resolving issues quickly and hassle-free. The picture quality is impressive, with vibrant colors and a wide range of functionalities that enhance the overall experience. Installation was simple and straightforward.
The only drawback is that the design could have been better with a height adjustment feature. However, overall, it’s a great monitor for work and entertainment. Would definitely recommend

I was initially skeptical after seeing some images in Amazon reviews, but this monitor exceeded my expectations. For casual and immersive gaming (not esports), it delivers an excellent ultrawide experience that’s hard to beat at this price. The 100Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync feels smooth, and the colors are vibrant. There’s an Acer alternative with 200Hz, but it costs more and has questionable after-sales service in my region. Overall, this is a great value for money. Highly recommended.

Pros:
1. 2K display , no dead pixels, no backlight bleed.
2. Audio output is quiet good. U may not need extra speakers, unless u r an audiophile or looking for deep bass.
3. LG monitor settings app comes really handy, can customise each display mode for each application. Ex: When u open word it can automatically switches to reader mode.
Cons
1. Brightness is 250 nits, which looks dimmy in daylight in a room without curtains. But considering the price this is not a big issue.
2. The beading at the bottom that bears LG logo is not fixed properly. This issue is not just with one piece, even if u get replacemet, the logo panel is flimsy.
Verdict.
For the price its a good beginner UW monitor. More useful for office works, multitasks and movie watching(HDR10). But might not be a good option for gamers. The refresh rate is low.

Best ultra wide monitor for the price(17k). Bought after lot of research. Using it for the last 7 months so far no issues. Very easy to use and good for both productivity and medium level gaming.

First glance I thought this is small monitor but after unboxing it , it’s a great investment and if you are looking for business work and for some mid gaming then this monitor is go-go for it , brightness is appropriate according to the need and text clarity is upto bars ,

LG UltraWide 29-inch IPS FHD Monitor and I’m impressed with its performance. The monitor has a sleek and modern design that looks great on my desk, and the 29-inch screen is the perfect size for multi-tasking and coding.
One standout feature of the monitor is the color calibration. The colours are vibrant and true to life, which makes it easy to differentiate between different elements on the screen. And with a resolution of 2560×1080 pixels, everything is crisp and clear.
The monitor also has a 100Hz refresh rate, which makes it ideal for gaming and watching movies. And the inbuilt 7W x 2 speakers are an excellent addition, as they provide decent sound quality without external speakers.
I also appreciate that the monitor has multiple connectivity options, including USB-C, DisplayPort, and HDMI. This makes it easy to connect to various devices and use the monitor differently.
One thing to note is that the viewing angle may look white on the cover on black, but it’s actually quite good if you sit at the centre of the monitor. So, if you’re looking for a monitor that provides a great viewing experience when you’re seated directly in front of it, this one is worth considering. (Sometime, they won’t recognise white on it as shown in the image)
Overall, I highly recommend the LG UltraWide 29-inch IPS FHD Monitor to anyone looking for a high-quality monitor for Multitasking, coding, and gaming. It’s an excellent investment that will last a long time and provide a great viewing experience for various activities.
