Not recommended. I saw my isp DNA GOA, gain unauthorized appliance access from wan. Yes, this router is not secure from wan, no ips/ids/snort etc. The isp used udp 68 and 69 port to first to see on 255.255.255.255 then easily gained appliance access by the methods I can’t mention here in the review. They can also throttle your speed at router level and say you are getting fine speed. Etc. If you need peace of mind, get another router with better features. Quality, range, stability, ease of use etc are very bad on dlink routers. If you tell me to buy routers, I’ll avoid them to maintain my peace of mind because people can misuse them easily.

The Dlink DIR-615 router is a average router out there in the market. It is not anything great but just works fine for basic usage. Don’t expect 300 Mbps speed as mentioned in the product. You will mostly get 100 mbps maximum.
Overall a decent router but not reliable.
Their customer service is top notch.

it was not working, so I reset it. now it is not visible in the available wifi list. how would I reconfigure it? if it is not available in the wifi list, if it is not detectable, how would I reconfigure it?

Pros:
Good product for what it costs. Perfect for home network.
Easy to wiring and setup.
It can be used as a Wi-Fi repeater or an access point.
Looks good.
Good range.
Cons (not really, more like nitpicking):
Unlike the product pictures on Amazon, the LEDs are not green; they are blue and lack diffusion. It can be disturbing if you are used to darkness at night to fall asleep. But a piece of masking or electrical tape would fix it.
Only one LED indicator for all the LAN ports.
Note:
I am using it as an access point, so only the power and LAN indicator LED are lit up since it WAN port is not connected in this configuration.
