excellent product – word of advise for any1 purchasing it – to get the best quality prints – select resolution 1200 dpi in the printer properties – else the default one is average quality

After using this printer for 1 month, I can say that it’s working smooth. If you are 90% focused on getting b/w prints then buy a laser printer and avoid ink printers to save your time and money.
The printer model I bought is non-wifi, but it’s ok for me because I prefer giving the command for printing from PC, because it provides you many customisations for the matter you are printing.
Also in the printer’s settings, you can adjust the toner density to increase the page yield.
Basically I printed around 1200 Pages (600 sheets) and the toner status is 75%. I adjusted the density to -1 and dpi to 300…..because density between -3 to -1 is a decent print quality, you can read easily. Doing this will increase your page yield to a great extent.
The build quality is decent plus the functionality of the printer is good because it has 3-4 chambers which you can open manually to clean up the printer and fix the paper jam if it happens.
You can manually feed 1 paper at a time, if you have to print only 1-2 sheets…. This feature is helpful when you wants to save your time and not open the main tray to insert 1-2 sheets of paper.
The Toner cartridge and Drum unit are separate. So if any one gets faulty, you don’t need to change the whole part…
Just replace the faulty part itself.
So it’s cost effective in long run. The toner cartridge can be refilled at the local market in your city.
But I suggest you to buy original toner cartridge when it runs empty because it’s also very cheap (Rs. 840-900)as compared to other brands original toner cartridge.

Really worth to buy .Original toner is crossing more than 2300 pages.
you have to keep settings in 300 dpi. speed is really good.in duplex also its works fine .

The printer came before time. The HL B2000D does what it claims, installation was a breeze. Its v fast in printing but seems a tad noisy for a new printer. Don’t know how long the cartridge will last as others here say its not a full cartridge. Only thing that irritated me was the courier who delivered it was actually ROLLING the box on the ground. God knows how long he was doing that PLUS the box had an impact damage on the bottom coroner (could have happened anywhere) luckily there is a gap between the product & the box plus there was thick thermocol in between. They have a primitive system of registration of product. I got a shock to find my registration was rejected because the invoice was not included. The fact is I had attached the invoice (invoice number is asked for in the registration form) & the warranty slip which contains the product serial number. But apparently who ever looked at my ‘registration application’ did not see all that. Reflects v poorly on the quality of ppl there.

Very good. It is better than my office printer. Its responce is quick after giving the print command. Till now taken 200 pages print still cartridge is working well. Very good for personal use. It can print only black and white. Connectivity is through cable only.
