Audio output is very low during call back option but works fine with talk back.

Conseillé pour les néophytes.
Conseil: ne placer la carte mémoire qu’après la programmation et un premier démarrage.

I am here with price to quality comparison of this product I purchased personally on May 2024 (for 2.5k INR approx)

Pros:
1: Build quality
Great; Solid with quality plastic. Can be installed up or downwards.

2: Unique features:
Standalone AI (differentiates motion by humans, pets, and vehicles) (works great)
Line crossing detection (Good but not perfect in my test), Camera Tampering (Works well)
Baby crying, Glass breaking, Dog barking, Cat meows detection (not bad but not best)

3: Surveillance:
Auto or manual pan and tilt with Sound and light alarm.
Mobile alerts could be set for human, pet or vehicle detection. But the alarm can be set for one schedule in a 24hrs time period (no multiple schedules per day).

4: Video quality:
2kQHD or 360P , both at max 25FPS. (Good for indoor use both morning and night) Check samples provided as attached images.

5: App:
User-friendly stable app and easy setup with the option to control many smart Tapo devices and cameras using one single app.

Cons:
1: Outdoor use:
This is meant for indoor use and hence the night IR is limited compared to its outdoor models. Not waterproof and lacks a cover for microSD.

2: Storage:
Can be stored only in microSD in the camera, Cloud storage is possible but chargeable. No WAN port.

3: Audio:
The two-way talk is not that great. The sound is a bit muffled with an echo effect.

My thoughts:
Being an Indoor camera; I can’t complain more about its outdoor effects. But the audio could have been better. Unlike what some people say; the connectivity and app is very good. If you face any connectivity drops; make sure you have a new updated router with quality speed and range.

Conclusion:
If you need an indoor cam with standalone AI with custom detection; this is one of the best buy from Tapo. Note that its predecessors Tapo C200 and C210 do not have standalone AI but only motion detection. For the price I bought it; I feel it is 90% worth the price with concern only with two-way audio quality. Smart detection is all great and good with decent video quality.
