Product is to understand very user friendly. After1 month you can’t understand why memory card not showing in camera. You can’t find the reason because same memory card will work in other devices. It’s designed to use their cloud memory on rental base which will generate regular income to the company.

Tapo C500 Outdoor Camera overall feature & Clarity,video quality wise is Good & Motion Tracking is Moderately just okayish , But whenever any issue arises, as in my case it’s a sd card related recording issue , The TP-LINK Service Center (Vasai,Mumbai) promises New device in exchange of old faulty device in warranty, but actually deliver Old Refurbished Camera (which is delivered in a dusty yet broken box by company & has a sticker of Not for Sale-Refurbished Product) , which works fine , but issues could arise in a repaired/refurbished product, So after sales Customer service is not that promising – Good but not Excellent. But overall Camera Quality & customer support everything is Better than Other Brands in Market

This camera will do the job, however, keep the following in mind
1) You will get a lag if the WiFi is too far away, I recommend a minimum of 150-200 Kb/s for optimal streaming and responsiveness
2) Enable motion/person detection and tracking wisely as it can eat up a lot of memory, install a 512 gb card so that you don’t have to repeatedly recover footage
3) Ensure your electrician or security personnel installs the waterproofing bracket before putting it at the place.

Zalety:
Jest niedroga, oferuje dobrą jakość nagrań, wykrywa ludzi ze wspomaganiem przez AI, ładnie podąża za ruszającym się obiektem.
Dodawanie kamery do konta TAPO jest proste. Zapis na karcie pamięci i podgląd nagrań zdalnie jest nie wymaga żadnych stałych opłat.
Wady:
Ma trochę mylnie identyfikowanych wykryć, ale to pikuś.

•I recently purchased the TP-Link Tapo C500 Outdoor Smart Camera, and overall, it has been a great addition to my home security system. The installation process was a breeze, and the camera is incredibly user-friendly.
•.The 2MP 1080p Full HD Live View provides sharp and detailed visuals, ensuring that every corner of the area is captured with precision. The pan/tilt function offers a 360° visual coverage, allowing me to monitor a large area effortlessly. The night vision capabilities are also impressive, providing clear visibility even in low-light conditions.
•The auto-tracking feature is a standout, automatically following any movement detected within its range. This ensures that no suspicious activity goes unnoticed. The 2-way audio recording adds an extra layer of security, enabling me to communicate with visitors or potential intruders.
•However, I have encountered a couple of drawbacks. First, there must be proper Wi-Fi signal coverage outside, or the camera may experience intermittent disconnections. Secondly, there can be a slight lag when loading the live stream and controlling the camera’s movements. While it doesn’t significantly impact the overall performance, it can be a minor inconvenience at times.

J’ai acheté cette caméra de surveillance TP-Link Tapo C500 pour sécuriser mon espace extérieur, et elle dépasse mes attentes. Voici mon avis détaillé :
Points positifs :
1. Qualité d’image excellente :
La résolution 1080p offre une image nette et détaillée, même de nuit grâce à la vision nocturne. On peut facilement identifier les visages ou les objets, ce qui est essentiel pour la surveillance.
2. Rotation 360° et suivi de mouvement :
La fonction de rotation permet une couverture complète sans angles morts. Le suivi de mouvement est réactif et suit parfaitement les déplacements, ce qui améliore considérablement la sécurité.
3. Détection de personne efficace :
Les notifications en temps réel sont précises et différencient bien les personnes des objets ou des animaux, réduisant ainsi les fausses alertes.
4. Étanchéité IP65 :
La caméra est parfaitement adaptée aux conditions extérieures. Elle fonctionne sans problème sous la pluie ou dans un environnement poussiéreux.
5. Installation simple et rapide :
L’installation est intuitive, que ce soit pour la fixation ou la configuration via l’application Tapo. En moins de 20 minutes, tout était opérationnel.

L’application Tapo est facile à utiliser et permet de gérer les paramètres, consulter les enregistrements, et contrôler la caméra à distance.

Points à améliorer :
1. Stockage local ou cloud limité :
Bien qu’il soit possible d’ajouter une carte SD pour le stockage local, l’absence d’un service cloud gratuit ou étendu pourrait être un inconvénient pour certains.
2. Notifications un peu fréquentes :
Même si la détection est efficace, il faut bien régler la sensibilité pour éviter d’être submergé par des alertes inutiles.
3. Câblage apparent :
Le câble d’alimentation est un peu trop visible une fois installé. Une version totalement sans fil serait encore plus pratique pour certains emplacements.
Conclusion :
La caméra de surveillance TP-Link Tapo C500 est une excellente option pour sécuriser un espace extérieur. Elle combine une qualité d’image remarquable, des fonctionnalités avancées comme le suivi de mouvement et une installation simple. Elle est parfaite pour un usage résidentiel ou professionnel à un prix très abordable. Je la recommande sans hésiter !

I have used this camera for just over a month. The image quality is good. App works seamlessly. I’m able playback all videos on the app.

The patrol mode doesn’t always work.
The camera keeps shutting down. Always need to restart
The camera does not remember marked positions accurately. I always need to keep realigning.
Not a very reliable camera because of the 3 cons.

Ich habe die Kamere bestellt um mehr Sicherheit auf unserem Grundstück zu haben. Von dem Preis mit 37,99 habe ich nicht viel Erwartet. Als sie ankam war ich erstmal Baff. Klebschablone, extra Ersatz Schrauben und Dübel und eine Einfache instalation. Die Kamera Qualität ist Spitze und die Kamera erkennt schnell den Tag&Nacht Unterscheid und Schaltet dann auf Nachtsicht um. Sie enthält Alarmanlage, Sprechen und Hören Klappt reibungslos. Zusatz Licht damit man Gegenstände anleuchten kann und vieles weitere. Im großen und ganzen empfehle ich die Kamera weiter denn einfache Instalation & Montage (45 min mit Außenwand durchbohren).
