I purchased this product of 26th may 2021 and took some time to write review for the thorough analysis over the product

As I was newer to the LED / LED projectors I had huge dilemmas on technical aspects like lumens , combination of natural colors etc etc compare to DLP projectors . I had a acer DLP projector and I had a mind set that LED/LCD projectors will be far away from DLP projector’s projection quality. So for the safer side I went for electron C9 basic model. After 6 months of thorough analysis with lowest price and good reviews

Below is sharing of my experience
PICTURE DEPARTMENT

1.picture quality is amazing which I never expected for this price range . It gives best picture quality on any quality of video files and if the source file quality fine projection is extremely fine
2.better quality of downloaded movies are available in mkv or ts file format .projector supporting ts file format but not mkv.please use proper video file converters with proper settings to get better output .
3.DONT PANIC AS PROJECTOR HAS GOT DEFECTIVE –Projector hangs for 30 to 60 seconds on LOADING unsupported video files in USB mode and comes out with message “file format not supported “ .Any buttons on device or remote wont respond even not possible to switch off the projector in this hanging period.So please don’t get panic and wait for some seconds
3.I go for nearly 120 inches diagonal projection and there is no deterioration in picture quality
4.It supports NTFS file format of USB drive for running files bigger that 4 GB
5. there is no deterioration in corners even at 120 inches projection
6. Brightness is reasonably fine even at corners ….Never expect even DLP projectors to give result without dark ambience . I saw this as a complaint in most of the reviews which is not possible even in theaters.
7. take little strain on projector alignment for perfect rectangle screening which decides 100 percent projection clarity exclusively for text .So try to keep the projector in perfectly leveled platform and keep the keystone knob at its perfect center . my suggestion is picture quality is 100 percent perfect if keystone adjustment is not used.(not only for this projector) .I made myself a stand with x and y axis alignment and used spirit level for the alignment

TEXT QUALITY ON PRESENTATIONS

Both Text quality and video screening is fine if the device connected to the computer through HDMI port. Graphics card gives still fine quality

The quality is not good if connected through VGA port and that is not the problem of projector .Because VGA is an analogue signal

MIRACAST
Miracast connectivity is perfect and picture quality is good .No lagging in audio

SOUND DEPARTMENT

1.Inbuit audio is crystal clear and more than sufficient. But hearing the audio from the screen distance is realistic and gives theatrical effect than hearing the audio near ear .So better to use external speaker

2.Same way as I analyzed xelectron I analyzed purchased cheap and best OBAGE MT 600 single tower home theatre (Rs 3999 at amazon ) . The out put audio quality of projector is extraordinarily fine for external audio and matching with home theater gives 100 percent theater experience

3.The output quality of OBAGE MT 600 home theater is highly precision without any distortion not as other cheapest sounding soundbars or home theaters and good combination to the projector

4.Instead of lengthy audio cable I am using PAGARIA Bluetooth audio transmitter costing Rs 429 at amazon . It transmits audio to home theater through blue tooth without any lagging or deterioration in audio quality

Overall there is no cons in this period of experience and I write the review if I observe in future

My overall rating to this projector is 4.5/5

I have been using this product over last 5 years and it’s still running smoothly and I haven’t faced any single problem yet. Works great. It gives theator experience everytime at home. Focus and picture quality is amazing. Sound is also great. Easy functions and remote control makes operating task so easy. Go for it rather than television to get unique experience everyday.

I have been using it for around 10 days, I can say it’s a lot better than expected. I already have a DLP projector(bought it from aliexpress), but its brightness became low after 5-6 years of usage.

I wanted to buy another projector, but due to policy changes, I am unable to buy from aliexpress anymore. And In India DLP projectors are not cheap and not many models are available.

So for time being, I thought to buy an LCD projector knowing its color reproduction and picture quality will be less than a DLP projector.

In fact, before buying this projector I purchased an LCD projector from another brand for a higher price, but it was not at all focusing properly and the brightness was too low if I project on 100″ wall. So I returned it immediately.

I purchased this projector without any major expectations, but surprisingly it’s a lot better than expected( In aliexpress it’s available for a lot cheaper, but as I said earlier we can’t buy it directly due to govt policy changes).

It has good brightness and picture quality is great even at a 110-120″ inch screen. I am able to watch movies comfortably with slight ambient light.

Its internal movie player is able to play almost all files without any issue(tried 720p and 1080p). The sound is decent. No heating issues even after using continuously for 3-4 hours.

Here are some pros and cons.

1) Good brightness
2) Good picture quality(tested till 110″ screen)
3) Decent color reproduction, colors are bright and vibrant considering it’s an LCD projector, not a DLP projector.
3) Decent sound. (Using external speakers connected through Bluetooth adapter). The basic and miracast version doesn’t have Bluetooth.
4) Sharp focus, however like other LCD projectors its corners are not properly focused and we can’t get everything focused, but while watching movies I don’t find any blurriness or out-of-focus areas.
5) Happy with the internal media player, the initial plan was to use an android box using HDMI, but since I use it only for watching movies, I am fine with its internal media player and have no plans to connect an android box for now.
6) Good connectivity options(2 HDMI, 2 USB, VGA, AV, audio out.)

Cons

1) Its mentioned by another reviewer, but I overlooked it. It’s not really a con but an irritating thing.
Due to its improper or unthoughtful design, we have to re-focus every time whenever we put on the lens cap.

To be honest it’s really irritating because I placed it near the ceiling using a custom-made projector stand which I was using earlier with my DLP projector and every time I have to struggle a little bit to refocus. But luckily we can focus quickly, but still, it’s painful to adjust every time.

2) It’s not a compact projector like others mentioned, maybe it’s lightweight and compact when compared to old bulb-based projectors, but it’s heavy and big compared to DLP projectors.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the only concern I have is the warranty and service in case of any technical issue.
