I can understand what you might think with the title but trust me, the camera is too good. I call it a camera phone. The images are just so good. The low light capturing is even better than an iPhone. If you like to click good pictures, this is the phone for you which is also in a good budget. Plus, you can game on it all day long. The battery lasts entire day. If I charge it to 100% in the morning 8:00 am, I will have 20-30% left around 8:00 pm. It’s just awesome 😃😃 . The only problem is you might not find a good back cover for this. Don’t know why companies didn’t make good back covers for this phone. It is a bit bulky to carry but at the same time sleek and handy. It’s performance is also in the tops. It is a flagship phone if you use it well. The touch, I felt the touch is even better than a SAMSUNG Galaxy S23 Ultra. Rest is upto you to find out. You won’t regret buying it. I’m enjoying it and I take it everywhere I travel. I have clicked more than thousand pictures with it, including low light. It’s just amazing.

    Tecno Phantom X2 Pro review;
HiOS 12 on top of Android 12
The Phantom X2 Pro runs on Android 12 and Tecno’s custom HiOS 12 on top of that. Tecno has been running and refining its own skin for some time now, which we’ve generally found to be quite good in the past, with a few on-and-off caveats here and there. These mostly come down to pre-installed bloat and ads. But, credit, where credit is due, the situation on both fronts appears to have gotten a lot better. The Phantom X2 Pro didn’t annoy us with pesky notifications and pushy offers nearly as much as some of its predecessors. The experience is actually pretty clean.
That’s not to say there aren’t many pre-installed apps and utilities. Tecno is still sticking to its traditions of developing and deploying its own set of apps to cover the basic features. You get an in-house gallery and video player and an app store, even two depending on how you count them. These can still get annoying at times, but we can understand the angle Tecno is coming from.
If some of the third-party apps are bothering you with various notifications – you can disable those – either from within the annoying app or from the Notification settings.
Getting into the Phantom X2 Pro is business as usual, with both fingerprint and face recognition available. You can have the fingerprint reader unlock with just a tap or require a press as well, and you can do that for face recognition as well.
The lockscreen has a single shortcut in the bottom right to access the camera. Once you’re past that, you arrive at a standard homescreen interface. The leftmost pane, called the Zero screen, holds cards with suggested news, weather and quotes widgets and an app usage widget. You can disable the Zero screen in the ‘Desktop settings’. There’s an app drawer by default which you can access from the old-school A-Z orange icon at the bottom or with an upward swipe from the bottom.
Themes are available as part of HiOS, and there is a dedicated Theme store for this purpose.
Tecno has a long-standing selection of advanced features that generally get carried forward from older models. That includes the Game mode with all the settings, statistics and parental controls. There is also a Smart panel with slide-from-the-side shortcuts.
Social Turbo toolset is rather interesting (a WhatsApp enhancer of sorts) – it can change your voice, enhance your face during video calls, record your WhatsApp calls, and allow you to read messages without marking them as Read.

MemFusion is Tecno’s name for virtual RAM. The Phantom X2 Pro has 12GB of physical RAM chips on board and can extend that up to a total of 17GB with another 5GB of virtual memory. By default, MemFusion is set to 3GB
    Performance and benchmarks
The Phantom X2 Pro is rocking a flagship Dimensity 9000 4nm chipset. MediaTek offers quite a bit of customizability on this chip which manufacturers like Asus have taken advantage of to push clocks higher. Tecno is running the Dimensity 9000 at its stock CPU clocks. The CPU configuration includes one ARM Cortex-X2 core running at up to 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 ones clocked at up to 2.85 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores at up to 1.8 GHz.
These are paired with a 10-core Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, clocked at 850 MHz. The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro also comes with 256GB of storage and 12GB of physical fast LPDDR5 RAM.

Let’s kick things off with some CPU tests and GeekBench. The Phantom X2 Pro definitely holds its own with a great overall showing. We find it surrounded by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 scores, proving that MediaTek’s current flagship offers are competitive with Qualcomm’s.

    Overall Review
All things considered, the Phantom X2 Pro pretty much aced its performance testing. Tecno did a great job integrating and making the most out of the Dimensity 9000 chipset. The chip itself is very potent and has plenty of power to throw around. Not only that, but it offers a modern feature set and connectivity to go along.
In practical terms, we had absolutely no performance issues with the Phantom X2 Pro either. Its HiOS environment runs very smoothly with little to no hiccups, and the phone happily chews through everything we throw at it, from productivity to gaming.

Value for money… Battery life, Adaptive Brightness.

Just received the phone and oh my god it’s a freakin masterpiece, kudos to tecno for creating such a beauty.
Frankly speaking my main requirement in a phone is its look and feel and boy you won’t find such a good looking handset. The Orange colour is very nice and the big camera module just looks so unique and appealing. Talking about specs its a through and through flagship, display is crisp and cameras are very good.
Its a little on a heavy side and i like that, when you hold it feels like a ultra premium device. I love the first experience hope it performs well for long time.
Go for it, for me it competes with all premium flagships in the market right now, have not tested the battery life and heating issue to the fullest but even if there will be some issues it’s worth it for what you have in your hands.
    Really well built Tecno.

    Battery backup is good
    Charging time mentioned is real
Display is good, but not HDR, No Palm or pocket Rejection feature it’s always on off display just put in pocket it’s ridiculous
120-60Hz refresh rate is worthless automatically display gitter or lagging, if you set 120 manually also lag scrolling apps …
Retractable camera not use its totally worthless struggling in focus if you retract,

    Sound is tooo low
HDR not supported atleast in it’s flagship
I got defective piece bcz sealed already broken repacked item.

I praise for Speed, antutu score is dashing and closing and opening of apps and games are too much speedy, I love it Speed..

Nothing special in this phone only is speed if you go for best processor or speed just blindly buy it, but camera is average, charging time average
    Don’t buy it

This is my third handset. I used two different tecno before this. I took this phone in BBD on EMI for six months. Total will around 33k. I love this phone. Camera display and look is best. Everyone talk about look of this bone. Retractable lense makes it unique. It’s zoom is 20x which is less than many phones but in terms of clarity tecno x2 p pro at same 20x provide better quality. One interesting thing is we can read text from distance from which we can not read single word with our eyes. It helps me many time in my work.
Only thing I think can be improve is when speaker is on during call only bottom speaker works. Insted if this can be both speaker at time.
