I ordered this portronics beem 440 projector and I am very happy with the purchase. This one is my second projector. I had to return the previous one as there was a sound issue that happened on the 8th day of my purchase so I was eligible to return the product. Thanks to Amazon’s easy return service. And
I ordered the same projector again (beem 440) because –
* I really like it’s picture quality and it’s flexibility in this price.
* Sound quality is good for a 10×10 room.
* For Hollywood movies u will need a bluetooth speaker as hollywood movies have very low sound. Otherwise bollywood movies play well with a good sound quality.
* With 8 GB internal storage, Play Store is also available so that you can install any entertainment media app on this device.
* Screen mirroring also works fine but if you play any entertainment app on your phone and try to mirror it, it’s not going to work as none of the entertainment media supports screen mirroring.
* I didn’t receive HDMI cable with both of the projectors even if it is mentioned in the description of the product. But it is needed only if you want to connect your laptop with the projector.
* It has USB slots so that we can connect a pendrive directly to the projector and access the information.
Overall the product is worth buying. Many features in such less price….
(Note: I am getting this message from Netflix since 1st July that “Netflix will no longer be available on this device from 15th July 2024.” So kindly make sure if the device is compatible to the Netflix by talking to a portronics customer care before purchasing this product. They said that it is a misinformation and it might be a technical glitch…but yet make sure before buying.)

Make a lot of noise, video quality is okay. Due to unavailability of cover on glass a lot of dots(due to dust) appears in a month or so. Digital corner stone works okay but blurs some corners.

I have purchased Portronics Beem 440 which is truly a worth buying product. Dont think about low lumen, its 2000 lumen is more than enought, projectors are supposed to be used in a dark room only, it will require Wi-Fi broadband connection at Home to watch online channels, you tube and many other web activities you can do. You can have option of USB Pendrive and can watch Images – Photos, Videos, Movies with a good Bluetooth Speaker connected you can bring Home a Theatre experience. I have enjoyed almost 10 x 05 feet screen with excellent clarity. I would recommend a 100% BUY !!

Value for Money
The Portronics Beem 440 Smart LED Projector is a good value for money! At this price point, it serves its purpose well. With a 720p HD resolution, the clarity is decent—neither exceptionally great nor disappointingly bad.
Usage Experience
The inbuilt apps are adequate but not exceptional. I prefer using an HDMI cable with my laptop for better clarity and refresh rate, especially for sports and action-intensive movies. This setup serves the purpose effectively.
Audio Quality
The inbuilt speaker is below average. For an enhanced audio experience, I recommend using external speakers.
Build Quality and Room Suitability
The build quality of the Portronics Beem 440 is good, but there is a potential issue with dust entering the lens through the exhaust vents, which requires regular maintenance. Importantly, this projector performs best in dark rooms or spaces. In a well-darkened environment, it adds a great vibe to the room, especially with a good set of external speakers.
Connectivity
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth feature doesn’t connect with Bluetooth speakers, which was disappointing.
Overall, the Portronics Beem 440 Smart LED Projector offers good value and functionality, but it is best suited for use in dark rooms. Be prepared for some compromises in audio quality and Bluetooth connectivity.
