(Refurbished) HP T630 High Performance Mini PC (AMD GX 420GI, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10, MS Office, WiFi|AMD Radeon R7E Graphics|USB)

Well so far so good, I got the product as per my requirement. Best for office use where you don’t need much gpu activity. For multitasking, internet browsing, day to day productivity application it’s a perfect choice. Specially the ssd and 8gb ram make the pc booting and multitasking faster.

Noy sure for gaming, because it doesn’t have any dedicated extra graphic card and also I don’t think at this price you should ask for gaming. Basic gaming you can do easily i think seeing the processor and ram.

Office applications are not trial version, good browser experience and the USB ports are fine –
I was using a Win 7 (pirated) PC which caused lots of problems, so I bought this refurbished HP system (Win 10 pro). It came with Office applications and they were not trial version. I also updated the windows to the current 10 pro version. I have installed my Canon & HP printers and also antivirus software without any issue. The browsers (Edge & Chrome) work without any lag. I think one of the USB ports don’t work but there are 4 more such ports that work without any problem.

Monitor needs to have either display port or HDMI cables –
This system has just display ports (2 of them) for monitor purpose. So either the monitor needs to have a display port cable or an adapter or convertor if you need to connect a HDMI cable from monitor. My Acer monitor only had VGA cable & port. I got a suitable adapter to connect the VGA cable to the system but there was still no signal to the monitor. So I replaced my monitor with one that had HDMI cable, got an adapter to connect it and then it was fine.

Ok speakers, headphones & mic issue –
The inbuilt speakers of the system are ok. Your headphones may or may not detect audio. I had 2 headphones and only one could pick the audio. But the mic of the headphone could not be detected even after I tried many troubleshooting steps.

I would strongly advise against buying Amazon’s refurbished products in India. This mini PC has been a source of problems ever since it arrived. It comes with a VGA male port and no HDMI so it cannot be connected without separate adapters. I was able to connect the video port of the pc with the VGA port of a laptop.

Once it booted, the pc was very slow and I had to use external wireless and bluetooth adapters. The pc stopped working after a few minutes each time and the problem just got worse. It was also impossible to get into the BIOS but with a windows 11 repair disk I was able to reinstall windows a couple of times but each time the system stopped working after a few minutes.

In short, not buying Amazon Refurbished again.

Purchase Experience – 5*. Without Amazon Refurbished store, I wouldn’t have come to know about this product.

Packing & Delivery – 5*. Appropriate packing. Updates at every stage.

Setting up – 5*. It was a breeze. All the necessary info was inside the box. Whatever promised in the product page was in the machine. It had Licensed Win 10 Pro ML edition! 👍🏽

Follow up & Customer Care – 5*. For such a low priced product, they provide top notch CC. I was even given a choice to extend warranty by 1 month for free!!!

I use this product as my home desktop. Usage ranges from 2-4 hrs a day. Have used it for several hours continuously. It didn’t heat up much. But, since this doesn’t have a fan, one is relieved of the buzzing noise.

Hope to see this member of my family for a long time.
