replaced oem cpu cooler on HP Pavilion TG01 Gaming Desktop PC – Nvidia RTX 3060Ti – i5-11400 with this cpu cooler. Selected this because it actually screwed into the motherboard vs using the push tabs. Also the db is low. Keeping CPU cool and quiet. Recommend

There are no plastic push pins to secure fan to processor as there are with the stock fan for an I3 processor.
One of the original pins broke making it unusable.
The metal screws and backplate are a definite plus. I’ve been buying Coolermaster products for many years. This did not disappoint.

Unlike Intel’s press-to-click fan, this one uses screws and a backplate This makes it so much more dependable. And it comes with thermal paste pre-applied. The backplate has stickers and little metal screw receptacles. You place the backplate on the underside of the motherboard and position it so that the screw receptacles push through the motherboard holes for the heatsink, and press. The stickers hold it in place. Then, you place the heatsink-fan unit on the other side and tighten the screws.
