I recently purchased this Wi-Fi camera, and I am thoroughly impressed. The setup process was straightforward, and the app interface is user-friendly. The video quality is excellent, with clear HD resolution both during the day and at night thanks to its night vision feature. The motion detection is accurate and sends timely alerts, which is perfect for home security.
The connectivity is also reliable, with wifi connection even when accessing the camera remotely.
Overall, it’s a great value for the price and highly recommended for anyone looking for an easy-to-use and reliable Wi-Fi camera.

Easy set up and working fine as described. Motion tracking for nearer objects not so perfect as it moves fast. night and day vision video quality is good.

The app is good, the camera itself is not bad, and easy to use. We use it as a baby cam. We used a better camera with zoom and pan&tilt functions before this one, but it was randomly restarting in the middle of the night and sometimes waking the baby with all the panning – zooming noises it made while restarting. So this one can’t move at all by itself at all, no zooming, no nothing, and also no noise at all. Super silent, except a “tppp” sound when it goes to the night mode and back to the day mode. But you can adjust it to work on the night mode all the time. You can also turn off the bright light in front of the camera, which was very handy in our situation. Our previous one was 5 megapixel, and this is 3 megapixel, so it’s kind of a downgrade for us, image quality-wise. But the image quality is not that bad. I wish there was a 5 megapixel version of this though. Overall, we are super happy with it, and great value for the price.

Fácil de instalar, se controla bien con su app y si tienes algún echo con pantalla se controla muy bien con alexa. Buena calidad de imagen, la opción de alarma funciona muy bien, hace seguimiento del intruso en todo momento mientras esté en su rango de visión, hace sonar alarma acústica (que si estás en casa la vas a oír) más alarma visual con juego de luces más las notificaciones con la app, además de quedarse grabado ( si le pones una microsd) lo que haya detectado. La visión nocturna es muy buena, se ve de maravilla. Sin duda la recomiendo.

Cihaz 10 numara 5 yıldız bir cihaz bana fazlasıyla yeterli geldi.Kurulumunda biraz zorlandım her şeyi denedim bir türlü kurulumunu yapamadım.En sonunda kesin cihaz bozuk diye yenisi ile değişme seçeneği ile iade oluşturdum.Amazon daha benden iade olanı almadan hemen yenisi için sipariş açtı yenisi gönderilecekti.O sırada aklıma telefonu kapayıp açmak geldi, telefonu kapattım açtım 20 saniye içinde kamera kurulumu otomatik gerçekleşti.:) Kurulum sırasında böyle bir sorun yaşayan olursa mutlaka telefonu kapayıp açsın olay çözülüyor.Kısacası tavsiye ederim.Zaten Amazonu anlatmaya bile gerek yok çok Klas bir Alışveriş sitesi💪🏻

This is a very good camera considering the price, this has a very good camera sensor…the video quality is just awesome, I loved everything about the camera, if you are looking for the best camera for your home you should definitely get this one.
The tapo app is also very nice and responsive, it works very fast and accurately.
The motion detection feature is very very accurate and it sends a notification almost instantly to all the devices that are connected to it whenever it senses a motion.
The night vision on this is also very good, it can record crisp and clear videos even in pitch dark conditions.
The mic is very sensitive and is able to pickup low sounds as well. The speaker might not be of a very good quality but is enough for the purpose it is meant to serve.
The provided adapter is also of a very good quality, it has a very long cable length (8-9) feet approx.

Updating my review after one month of use. No change in my rating and just updating more prons and cons
Pros
1. Good indoor camera for normal use.
2. Configuring is easy
3.Tapo app is responsive and working good
4. Video Clarity is ok
5. Sound is ok
6. Rotation is smooth , but a very small sound while rotating. A person who is standing near to camera can notice this sound
7. Zooming is ok , but no optical zoom
8. Night vision is good
9. You can add presets and presets are working good. I am specifically telling this because presets won’t work well in some other brand cameraz . But for tapo it is working very good.
10. You can adjust rotation angle and it is one of the feature missing in other camera.
11. Person detection is working well and you can easily differtiate normal motion detection with person detection by a person symbol on thumbnails.
Cons
1. Cloud storage is expensive
2. No optical zoom, only digital zoom. I didn’t like zoom clarity compared to other 3mp models. If you want to zoom a large distance , don’t take this.i own an ezviz 1k camera and i liked zoom clarity of that than this.
3. Can’t control the siren as per our will.siren works only in motion detection. So if a small insect is flying , then it will make sound. But we can restrict it to human detection. I always prefer an alarm with a button which we can trigger from app.
4. Play back or recorded video in memory card fast-forward option is not via slider. You can select a speed and it will fast forward based on that. But I always prefer a slider for fast-forward.
5. Tapo is autorotating sometimes. Not sure why . I don’t want this feature.
6. One major con I noticed is the wifi network updation . Most of the cameras now a days allow you to change wifi network via app . But for tapo we can’t change wifi via app. I can see network selection is ready only field and no action on that.
