Hi All, I am using this camera for few month’s. Here is my experience:
Once connected to WiFi network. If you want to change the WiFi network, we need to reset the camera. It’s takes a while but works eventually.
Sometimes it is slow to respond remotely, if it gets stuck it resets itself and becomes normal which is a good thing and colour are average in night or evening. Day time colour is fine.
WiFi should be good. Inorder to use the camera. Or else, when you are remotely viewing the live feed and you change the angle, it can go dark on screen. But camera is still running. If not fixed we can reboot remotely.
Overall product is average. I don’t have any specific complaints. Just it can improve a bit more.

I would love to recommend this product to everyone who is looking for streaming of live videos from your kids room to your mobile phone. The camera quality, features of voice and audio, zooming and installation is ll smooth, effortless and amazing. In brief, I would just say that it is the solution to all your monitoring from a distance problem.

It has special feature to act as a baby monitor. We use it to track our baby when they are alone in the room. But, it is not restricted to that. You can use it later in your life also so that you can monitor people and children while you are away.
It can act as a security camera too. It has all the wonderful features. But, if you are going for better resolution go for a costly one. Also, it has a very nice night mode, which is very useful to monitor babies if they are sleeping.

Just Did installation myself. Easily done with roof bracket to install on the roof (you will need drilling machine) or easy to keep in a corner somewhere also. You need wifi with 2.4 GHz band to connect this camera. Do not purchase if you do not have a stable Wi-Fi connection. The pan and tilt works, night vision is functional, audio can be heard, even the talk function works, alarm function is working, motion detection and person detection is working, installed 64 G SD card for local recordings which can be accessed via the app. Did two tests – disconnected wifi in this case live view or local recordings is not available, once wifi is restored camera connected automatically and local recordings are available even when wifi is off. 2nd disconnected the power from camera in this case live view or local recordings are not available, once power restored it automatically connected and can view the live view, not possible to get any recordings while the camera is power off. So if someone physically turns off the power all functionality is gone. Video quality is better than expected – overall very happy with the product. Now ordered 3 more pieces. It requires technical know how to use the product, if you are not good with modern gadgets you will probably have hard time in installing/using fully by yourself.

La cámara TP-Lin 1080 ha sido una gran adición a mi sistema de seguridad en el hogar. La calidad de imagen es impresionante, con una resolución de 1080p que proporciona detalles nítidos tanto de día como de noche. La instalación fue rápida y sencilla, y la aplicación móvil es intuitiva y fácil de usar, lo que me permite monitorear mi hogar desde cualquier lugar.

I have bought 6 TP Link Tapo cameras (different models) for my house. Even though these are supposedly indoor cameras, I am using them on the outside of the house. They are excellent. The TAPO app allows me to monitor them within one app. The app itself has plenty of features. You can set what you want each individual camera to detect (motion, person, baby crying). You can set the exact area of the image you want it to monitor and which area you want it to ignore. On the C200, you can also pan, tilt, patrol using the app. You can change the resolution of the recording depending on your internet speed. You can also change the motion sensitivity of each camera. The cameras come with a slot for a micro SD card. When the card is full it automatically overwrites the oldest recordings. There is also a brilliant cloud storage feature. Currently I am on the free trial and find it quite useful, though it’s not a necessity if you are using the micro sd storage.
Some areas for improvement. Just my suggestions:
1. Stronger WiFi connectivity. On the lower end models like the C100, the WiFi pickup range is lower than the C200 so I am having to use WiFi extenders.
2. Ability to switch WiFi network. In the TAPO app, it would be helpful if we could log in to the camera and switch it to a different WiFi network if and when needed. Unfortunately, now, once it’s set up with a given network, and if you want to switch it to a different one, you have to reset the whole camera and set it up again.
3. Multicamera simultaneous monitoring. As I have 6 cameras installed, I missed the ability to view all 6 feeds at the same time. It would be great if this feature could be built into the TAPO app. Currently, you can only view 4 cameras at a time.
4. Casting – When playing back a feed or a recording, it will be helpful to include a casting feature that will enable users to cast the video to a smart TV if we want to view it on a larger screen.
5. Bitrate / compression selection – currently, you cannot alter the recording bitrate of the videos, only the resolution. It will be helpful to have this feature in case we need to capture more detail for certain angles.
6. Internal battery backup – nowadays, the smallest of devices have an internal rechargeable battery to keep them running. It would be helpful for these cameras to have an internal battery that can at least run them for an hour or two in case there is a power cut or an intruder cuts the wire.
Overall, a solid line of products and very affordable as well. I hope there are more features rolled out via firmware upgrades and app updates.

I am so happy with the performance that i could not resist myself from ordering two more cameras for my home security… I am thankful that the Tapo cameras are so high in quality and service. It is a must needed camera.
Just on the day of installing it captured a video which removed the cause of confusion between two families. Its recorded video came to our rescue and helped in removing the fog from minds of all the people.
I am just now the biggest fan of This Camera…
TAPO and Amazon i thank you for such a fine Camera and its delivery …. ALSO IT IS BUDGET FRIENDLY.

Llevo unos meses usando la cámara TP-Link Tapo C200 para vigilar mi casa y estoy encantado. La verdad es que cumple con todo lo que buscaba en una cámara de vigilancia:
Calidad de imagen:
La cámara graba en Full HD 1080p, lo que me permite ver con todo detalle lo que pasa en casa.
La visión nocturna también funciona muy bien, incluso en completa oscuridad puedo ver lo que sucede.
Funciones:
La cámara tiene un montón de funciones que me resultan muy útiles, como:
Detección de movimiento: me manda una notificación al móvil cuando detecta movimiento, así puedo saber si alguien está en casa cuando no debo.
Seguimiento automático: la cámara sigue automáticamente el movimiento que detecta, así que no pierdo de vista a nadie.
Audio bidireccional: puedo hablar a través de la cámara y escuchar lo que pasa en casa.
Almacenamiento en tarjeta SD: puedo grabar las imágenes en una tarjeta SD para verlas más tarde.
Configuración:
La configuración de la cámara fue un poco confusa al principio, pero una vez que le cogí el tranquillo fue muy fácil.
La aplicación para móvil es muy intuitiva y fácil de usar.
En general, estoy muy satisfecho con la cámara TP-Link Tapo C200. Es una cámara de gran calidad con un montón de funciones que me resultan muy útiles. La recomiendo a cualquiera que busque una cámara de vigilancia para su hogar.
