** The max speed that this router can support is 100Mbps as both the LAN and WAN port have this as their max. speed.
** Great for internet connections up to 100 Mbps (only WiFi, LAN will go only upto 80-90Mbps).
Pros:
> Nice UI
> Nice functionalities
> Easy to setup
> 4x 100Mbps LAN ports
> Dual Band WiFi – 2Ghz and 5Ghz
> 9V 0.6A – Low power consumption
> 4 Antennas
> Supports WPA3, IPv6, UPnP, WPS, etc.
> Good enough network coverage
Cons:
> Not meant for super heavy usage – if needed, go for MIMO, WiFi6, Mesh, etc.
> Only 100Mbps LAN and WAN. Would have loved a 1Gbps one.
Remarks:
> There’s a certain range limit and environmental factors that affect WiFi as a whole and are not the fault of your router.
> Use the modes while keeping in mind how they work, eg. Range extender will definitely reduce your speed as it uses 50% for the source connection.
> Configure the router properly.
> Schedule a restart of the device at least weekly (daily if possible).
> Configure static DNS servers for better speeds (1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, etc.)
> Disable unwanted functionalities.
> The 2.4 GHz band provides the most coverage but transmits data at slower speeds. The 5 GHz band provides less coverage but transmits data at faster speeds.

So the Wifi Speed they are showing on the page is local wifi speed not the internet wifi speed.
As this router WAN port is capped at 100Mbps which means even if you internet line speed is 300Mbps and you use this router as your primary router, you won’t get internet speed beyond 100Mbps.
This router is a scam to consumers as they mentioning the worthless speed details on Amazon Page while hiding the crucial details. Whenever you buy a tp-link router please be careful and check tp-link official website first.

Why this particular model?
My primary purpose for this router was the range extender mode . Upon checking the models and prices I found this to be the best option.
Note most tp link or any other router brand do not support range extender option out of box.
Meaning you to have to manually check router configuration settings and change the ip….to sum up not feasible for average user. Now some will tell you, that you can use ap or wds bridging. Nope. Let me tell you why, 1. AP mode supports extending both 2.4 amd 5ghz band but your new router has to be physically connected to the old one with a ethernet cable.
2. Wds bridging mode supports connecting two routers without a cable but it can only support either 2.4 or 5ghz band at one time. Meaning you only get single band extension.
3. Range extender mode. Now this is the best. It allows you to simply extend both 2.4ghz and 5ghz band without any ethernet cable connection to primary router. This will extend your wifi range throughout the area. Most routers do not have this mode. Plus this is a gigabit router so it will also support net plans over 100mbps.
TP link is a tried and trusted brand when it comes to routers. There are other cheaper alternatives but I always trust tp link over others.

Archer C54 is decent product with good range and speed. I have 50 Mbps broadband connection and this product is good for 1 bhk.

Tether isimli bir resmi APP sayesinde TP Link ürünlerini cep telefonu ile yönetip kurabiliyorsunuz, bunu da çok kolay yönlendirmelerle kurup, evde aynı odada olmama ragmen bağlanti sorunu yasadigim turksat kablo modemin yanına kurdum, ethernet kablosu ile modeme bagladiktan sonra artik alt-üst kattan, hatta sokaktan bile çeken bir Wi-Fi baglantim oldu, hatta neden daha once almadim diye hayiflandim, Turksat kablonet internet hizmeti alan herses mutlaka bu ürünü de almalı, nasil fark yarattigini anlatamam. Muhtesem, tek kelime ile… 🙂
