I got a damaged product. I am programming it but it is not working. Don’t buy from this product. It does not have a return policy

I want to return the item since it is not working. The opening page of the item description says that the item can be returned within 10 days. But on trying to initiate the return, it says that the item is not eligible for return.
I have tried contacting customer care, but couldn’t by either phone or chat. I have dropped a mail to them now. Hoping for the best.
