This game is hard. It punishes you for your every single mistake, and sometimes it gets highly frustrating, but I still keep coming back to it. Why, you ask? It has the most fun gameplay I’ve ever experienced in a video game. Excellent shooter, atmospheric, great soundtrack, challenging enemies, 4K-60fps runs buttery smooth, need I say more? Other game studios, please take notes. This is what a shooter should feel and play like. Thank you, Housemarque.

Returnal is my Game of the year for now in june 2021, this game is challenging and has an gameplay loop that you die you start all over again but don’t lose hope it’s so addictive that you will not stop playing it incredible dualsense features you feel the rain drops on the controller and you feel the gunshots in the addaptive triggers. What makes this game so amazing is its addictive gameplay with the environment changing everytime you die you never feel bored or frustrated even after ending the game you can’t stop playing it again and again.

Returnal is probably one of the best showcases for the PS5 and in making a case for why you should go next-gen. Amazing graphics, a superb gameplay model of die-learn from your mistakes- repeat, and great implementation of the dualsense’s triggers and haptics. This was one game I had no qualms about dropping 5k on, and have gotten every bit of my money’s worth out of. It’s a high quality product in every sense of the word.
